First Doctors’ Forum, “First Line: Forum of General Practice Doctors,” held in Dushanbe

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, the forum took place in Dushanbe on 29 October 2026 and brought together domestic and foreign specialists.

Shahlo Ashurion, head of the ministry’s department for medical and pharmaceutical education, personnel policy and science, said the effectiveness of the healthcare system depends first and foremost on the quality of primary health care, and that early detection of disease and timely treatment help prevent complications.

Participants exchanged views on early signs of autism spectrum disorders, child development assessment, diagnosis and management of type 2 diabetes, immune deficiency, reasons why children fall ill frequently, skin manifestations in infectious diseases and allergy-related issues.
