A number of laws signed

Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, signed laws that had been adopted and endorsed by the lower and upper houses of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.

These include the Environmental Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the laws on the protection of competition and on migration, as well as amendments to the laws on limiting the use of tobacco products and on the use of renewable energy sources.

The signed laws are intended to support the country's steady and rapid economic, social and cultural development, protect public health and the environment, regulate citizens' migration, develop entrepreneurship and improve people's living standards. The full texts of the laws will be published in the press.
