Exchange rates: 1 US dollar set at 9.2136 somoni

Dushanbe, 23.10.2026 /AMIT "Khovar"/. The National Bank of Tajikistan today set foreign exchange rates against the somoni, Tajikistan's national currency, as follows: 1 US dollar - 9.2136 somoni; 1 euro - 10.3181 somoni; 1 Russian rouble - 0.1135 somoni. It also said the average retail selling rate for cash foreign currency at Tajikistan's credit organisation institutions is: 1 US dollar from 9.1500 to 9.2136 somoni; 1 euro from 10.1500 to 10.3181 somoni; and 1 Russian rouble from 0.1030 to 0.1135 somoni. The National Bank of Tajikistan warned that carrying out exchange transactions outside the head office, branches, bank service centres, money transfer points, ATMs and terminals is strictly prohibited, and failure by individuals to comply with this requirement is regarded as an offence and may lead to administrative and criminal liability.
