Tajikistan's Independence Day marked in Minsk
An official event was held in Minsk to mark the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Belarus.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Belarus, the event took place in Minsk on 2026-09-11.
In his remarks, Tajikistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus, Bakhtovar Safarzoda, spoke about the historical importance of Independence Day and the country's achievements over this period. He also referred to the global initiatives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, aimed at strengthening peace and security, the rational use of water resources, and climate change issues.
