Speech marking the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence at the Rasht district stadium

In a speech delivered at the Rasht district stadium, the President of Tajikistan congratulated the hardworking people of Rasht, Nurabad, Tajikabad, Lakhsh and Sangvor on the 35th anniversary of state independence and thanked them for their contribution to the country's development. He said that 986 production and social facilities were planned in the Rasht region, and by 2026-08-20, 825 facilities, or 82.1 percent, had been put into use.

The speech also referred to state and private investment, the construction of roads and bridges, small hydropower plants, educational and healthcare facilities, and the growth of industry and agriculture in these districts. According to the President, billions of somoni have been allocated to the development of these areas during the independence period, alongside major projects in transport, education, health care and services.

He concluded by stressing that peace, political stability and national unity, as well as educating young people in patriotism, knowledge and vocational skills, remain essential for further progress.
