More than 41,000 tourists visited Panjakent in 9 months

According to Khovar, citing the executive authority of Panjakent city, 41.3 thousand tourists from 160 foreign countries visited the city’s historic, cultural and tourism sites in the first 9 months of the current year.

Panjakent is noted for the 5,500-year-old Sarazm, Ancient Panjakent, the tomb of Ustad Abuabdullohi Rudaki in Panjrud village, and more than 300 other heritage sites. Haftkul, tourist bases and hotels built in recent years are also among the main attractions.
