Tajikistan's SCO chairmanship strengthened the economy and the authority of this influential organisation

DUSHANBE, 20.10.2026 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Speaking at a press conference following the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the SCO member states in narrow and expanded formats, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kokhir Rasulzoda, said that special attention during Tajikistan's chairmanship was paid to the consistent implementation of agreements reached and to the tasks set by heads of state.

According to the Prime Minister, the main efforts were focused on developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, advancing joint initiatives, and improving mechanisms of interaction among member states.
