Republic road between Dushanbe, Sharora and Hisor fully asphalted

The final section of the republic road linking Sharora in Hisor with Dushanbe has been asphalted. The project was completed with support from local authorities, businesses and residents.
Hisor, 2026-10-20 /Khovar/. In the Sharora town jamoat of Hisor city, asphalt-laying on the final section of the Dushanbe-Sharora-Hisor republic road has been completed. The Hisor city executive authority informed Khovar's regional correspondent about this.
The road was asphalted in line with instructions from the Chairman of the National Council of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe Mayor Rustami Emomali, and with support from the Hisor city executive authority together with patriotic entrepreneurs and local residents. The first stage of the project had previously been completed over a distance of more than 20 km.
This time, the final 1 km section from the centre of Sharora town to the Chimteppa-Sharora-Hisor highway was fully asphalted. Opening the road will ease years of travel for residents and visitors and create favourable conditions for uninterrupted traffic, especially freight vehicles, to the capital.
