9th International Users’ Conference of Micromine-2026 to be held in Guliston

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-21 /Khovar/. On 22-23 October in Guliston, at the initiative of the Main Directorate of Geology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the international scientific and practical conference “The Role of Geology in the Development of the Country’s Industry” and the 9th International Users’ Conference of Micromine-2026 will be held.

The main aim of the conference is to discuss the role of geology in the country’s industrial development, expand international cooperation and apply modern digital technologies in geology and the mining sector. The event will examine the use of digital software in geological and exploration work, 3D modelling of deposits, assessment of mineral reserves and ways to improve sector efficiency.

About 200 representatives of government bodies, scientific and educational institutions, mining enterprises, and domestic and foreign specialists from 9 countries are expected to take part: Australia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Visitors will also tour historical and cultural sites in Khujand, and cooperation agreements are expected to be signed.
