Emomali Rahmon in Vahdat city commissions 16 facilities of different purposes

On 24 October 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, commissioned 16 facilities of different purposes in Vahdat city by remote connection.

Among them were a glass production plant, a sewing workshop and a sausage production enterprise in Zarnisori village of the Rajab Ismoilov jamoat. In education, 5 additional buildings at schools and a private pre-school institution for 210 children were put into use. At the same time, a spinal health centre with 30 beds and a new health centre in the city also began operating.

Sports grounds, a modern bathhouse and several football pitches in different villages of Vahdat were also opened. A trade and services centre with a sewing workshop was likewise commissioned. Local officials said that hundreds of projects have already been completed in the city as part of the preparations for the 35th anniversary of state independence.
