International conference on agricultural science and production held in Dushanbe

An international scientific and practical conference titled “Innovative Methods for the Development of Agricultural Science and Production under Conditions of Climate Change” was held today in Dushanbe with the participation of Tajikistan's Deputy Prime Minister Sulaimon Ziyozoda and scientists and experts from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, China and Russia.

Before the conference began, an exhibition of agricultural products was held. The main aim of the event was to discuss the development of agricultural science and production under climate change, the use of innovative technologies, ways to make scientific achievements more effectively applicable in production, and the expansion of international cooperation.

Participants also discussed breeding and seed production, plant protection, efficient use of land and water, and the digitalisation of agriculture.
