Emomali Rahmon attends festivities in Kulob for the 35th anniversary of state independence

On 5 October 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, took part in and addressed a festive ceremony in the city of Kulob. The event was dedicated to the national celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence.

At the start, the Head of State congratulated the residents of Kulob on the 35th anniversary of State Independence and on State Language Day. He described the day as one of the national sacred values of the ancient Tajik nation.
