Geneva meeting showcases Tajikistan's priorities for sustainable urban development

At the 87th session of the UNECE Committee on Urban Development, Housing and Land Management in Geneva, Abdujabbor Nazirzoda outlined Tajikistan's achievements and priorities.
Dushanbe, 16.10.2026 /Khovar/. From 14 to 16 October, Geneva hosted the 87th session of the Committee on Urban Development, Housing and Land Management of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, attended by the Deputy Chairman of Tajikistan's Committee for Architecture and Construction, Abdujabbor Nazirzoda.
At the session, he spoke about Tajikistan's achievements in sustainable urban development, providing the population with affordable and quality housing, introducing innovative technologies, strengthening modern urban infrastructure, improving the energy efficiency of buildings, advancing digitalisation, and expanding international cooperation.
