Prosecutors general of Tajikistan and Iran discuss strengthening legal cooperation
On 11 September 2026, the prosecutors general of Tajikistan and Iran met in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of a meeting of prosecutors general from member states of the Economic Cooperation Organisation.
The sides described the two countries' deep historical and cultural ties and shared linguistic heritage as important. They also underlined the steady development of inter-agency cooperation since diplomatic relations were established.
