Memorandum signed on establishing a Regional Fund for the Development of the Sovereign Digital Space in Tajikistan

On the sidelines of international meetings on communications, digitalisation and information technology, a memorandum of understanding was signed on 29 September 2026 between the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Regional Union for Communications.

The document focuses on regional cooperation in digital development, information and communication technologies, digital infrastructure and information security. The sides also discussed the possibility of establishing a Regional Fund for the Development of the Sovereign Digital Space in the Republic of Tajikistan.
