A ceremonial event held in Seoul to mark the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan
At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Korea, a ceremonial event was held to mark the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, with senior representatives of the host country’s ministries and agencies, the diplomatic corps, Korean company leaders and media representatives in attendance.
According to Khovar, in a report published on 2026-09-30, the event was organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Korea. Senior representatives of the host country’s ministries and agencies, the diplomatic corps, Korean company leaders and representatives of the media attended.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea, Salohiddin Kirom, said that independence is a symbol of freedom, pride, honour, and the sign of the nation’s prosperity and endurance, and that Tajikistan was recognised as a member of the international community thanks to the constructive policy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon.
The ceremony was enlivened by Tajik dance and music, as well as a cultural programme by Tajik performers.
