Tajik judoka to receive cash prizes for Asian Games medals

The President of the Tajikistan Judo Federation has announced special cash awards for athletes who win medals at the Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan.
DUSHANBE, 24.09.2026 /Khovar/. The President of the Tajikistan Judo Federation, Ismoil Makhmadzoir, has introduced special cash prizes for judoka who will represent the Republic of Tajikistan at the Asian Games in the Japanese cities of Aichi and Nagoya and win medals. The Tajikistan Judo Federation told the Khovar sports correspondent about the decision.
Tajik athletes will be rewarded with cash for prize-winning places in this prestigious continental competition. First place and a gold medal will receive 150000 somoni, second place and a silver medal 100000 somoni, and third place and a bronze medal 80000 somoni.
