Tajik and Chinese medical specialists exchange experience on maternal and newborn health
A delegation from Tajikistan’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection and representatives of Shanghai health bodies discussed medical services for mothers and children at an online meeting.
According to Khovar, on 14 October 2026 a delegation from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission and the Shanghai Women’s and Children’s Health Centre of the People’s Republic of China held an online meeting on medical care for mothers and children.
The report said that protecting the health of mothers, newborns and children is one of the priority directions of Tajikistan’s state policy.
