Exchange rates: 1 Russian rouble set at 0.0990 to 0.1104 somoni

The National Bank of Tajikistan on 19 October 2026 announced official foreign-exchange rates against the somoni. It also set the average cash-sale ranges used by credit institutions and warned that exchange operations outside authorised points are prohibited.
Dushanbe, 19.10.2026 /NIAT "Khovar"/. The National Bank of Tajikistan today set foreign exchange rates against the somoni, Tajikistan's national currency, as follows: 1 US dollar — 9.2395 somoni; 1 euro — 10.4000 somoni; 1 Russian rouble — 0.1104 somoni.
It also set the average cash-sale exchange rates in the institutions of Tajikistan's credit organisations as follows: 1 US dollar from 9.1600 to 9.2395 somoni; 1 euro from 10.1500 to 10.4000 somoni; 1 Russian rouble from 0.0990 to 0.1104 somoni.
The National Bank of Tajikistan warned that carrying out exchange transactions outside a head office, branch, bank service centre, money transfer point, ATM or terminal is strictly prohibited. Failure by individuals to comply with this requirement is considered a legal violation and may lead to administrative and criminal liability.
