Strategic cooperation strengthened to attract sustainable investment and climate finance

On 2026-10-16, Khovar reported that, to expand international cooperation and strengthen national capacity in environmental protection and climate change, a memorandum of understanding on strategic cooperation was prepared between the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and S.P.O.N.S.O.R. (SCOP) from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The report said the main aim is to create favourable conditions for attracting domestic and foreign investment, accessing international climate finance, and drafting and implementing priority sustainable development projects in the Republic of Tajikistan.
