Customs checkpoint building and vertical shaft put into use in Kulob Free Economic Zone

DUSHANBE, 06.10.2026 /NIAT Khovar/. On 5 October, during the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to the city of Kulob, a customs checkpoint building and a vertical shaft were put into use in the Kulob Free Economic Zone.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the facilities were commissioned to improve services and further develop the zone's infrastructure.

It should be recalled that on the same day, a new administrative building of the Kulob Free Economic Zone and a vehicle spare parts manufacturing plant belonging to LLC Tojik-Almos were also put into use. The head of state also familiarised himself with a project to build a textile complex and laid its foundation stone.
