Tajikistan's cooperation with SWIFT discussed during Sibos 2026
The National Bank of Tajikistan delegation and SWIFT representatives discussed expanding international banking cooperation, developing cross-border payment infrastructure and strengthening the country's integration into the global financial infrastructure.
DUSHANBE, 2026-09-30 /Khovar/. At a meeting between a delegation of the National Bank of Tajikistan led by First Deputy Chairman Firuza Sharifzoda and representatives of SWIFT, the sides discussed ways to expand international banking cooperation.
They also reviewed the development of cross-border payment infrastructure, improving the efficiency and transparency of international settlements, and strengthening the integration of the banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan with the global financial infrastructure.
