Winners of the Republican 'Best Mother-in-Law' contest named in Khatlon region

The final round of the Republican 'Best Mother-in-Law' contest was held in Khatlon region, and the winners were announced. Organisers said the contest is important for strengthening the role of women in family and society.
The final round of the Republican 'Best Mother-in-Law' contest was held in Khatlon region. Anorgul Saidalieva from Danghara district took first place. Second place went to Sultonbi Qayumova of Kulob city and Shohzoza Komilova of Mu'minobod district, while third place was awarded to Yodgorbi Ashurova of Mir Said Ali Hamadoni district, Roziya Kholova of Yovon district and Gulbahor Qazoqova of Levakant city.
According to the Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, such contests are important for raising respect for the role of women in the family and society, promoting the experience of women with life experience and strengthening good relations among family members. The contest has been held for the third year in a row under the State Programme for Family Development in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2028.
