Exchange rate: 1 US dollar set at between 9.2600 and 9.2700 somoni

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-20 /Khovar/. The National Bank of Tajikistan today set the foreign exchange rates against the somoni as follows: 1 US dollar — 9.2351 somoni, 1 euro — 10.3664 somoni and 1 Russian rouble — 0.1116 somoni. It also set the average cash-sale rates for foreign currency at Tajik credit institutions as follows: 1 US dollar — between 9.2600 and 9.2700 somoni, 1 euro — between 10.3500 and 10.4500 somoni, and 1 Russian rouble — between 0.1030 and 0.1135 somoni. The National Bank of Tajikistan said foreign exchange transactions outside the head office, branches, banking service centres, money transfer points, ATMs and terminals are strictly prohibited, and failure by individuals to comply with this requirement is considered an offence and may lead to administrative and criminal liability.
