Agricultural output in Sughd region exceeds 21 billion somoni

By 1 October 2026, farmers in Sughd region had produced agricultural goods worth 21 billion 51.7 million somoni. The figure is 109.6% higher than in the same period of 2025.

During this period, notable growth was recorded in crop farming and livestock breeding. The report also cites increased meat and milk production, as well as the establishment of new orchards.

According to the report, vegetable output totalled 608148.8 tonnes, onions 198456.5 tonnes, potatoes 584707 tonnes, melons and gourds 171345.7 tonnes, grapes 61600.5 tonnes, fruit 182905.4 tonnes, including apricots 89804 tonnes, and fodder crops 394824.9 feed units.
