Tajikistan delegation takes part in the 70th IAEA General Conference
A delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan is taking part in the 70th session of the IAEA General Conference in Vienna. The session runs from 14 to 18 September at the Vienna International Centre.
DUSHANBE, 2026-09-16 /NIAT "Khovar"/. The 70th regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is being held from 14 to 18 September at the Vienna International Centre in the Republic of Austria.
The Agency for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan said that senior representatives of member states are considering key issues related to the peaceful use of atomic energy, nuclear and radiation safety, physical nuclear security, safeguards for the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, technical cooperation, and the use of nuclear technologies for sustainable development.
