Memorandum of understanding signed between Tajikistan’s Academy of Public Administration and Lanzhou University of Technology

According to Khovar, citing the Academy of Public Administration, the memorandum was signed on 21 September 2026 in Lanzhou, China, during a meeting between the leadership of Lanzhou University of Technology and a delegation from the Academy headed by its rector, Davron Safarzoda.

The document provides a basis for cooperation in education, scientific research, academic exchange and international relations. It includes exchanges of teachers and students, the development of educational and internship programmes, joint research on Central Asia and regional economics, and the holding of scientific events.

The two sides also discussed short-term training programmes for Tajikistan’s state and administrative employees and the launch of a joint educational programme. The Academy proposed a joint scientific project to mark the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and China in 2027.
