Government meeting of the Republic of Tajikistan

At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the draft State Programme for the Development of Environmental Education and Culture of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026-2030 was reviewed, and a report by Bahodur Sheralizoda, head of the Committee for Environmental Protection, was heard.

It was stated that the programme aims to raise environmental literacy, foster sustainable environmental values and responsible civic behaviour, and involve young people, public organisations and enterprises in active participation in environmental initiatives. Emomali Rahmon instructed that the programme and its implementation plan be approved and that the relevant bodies report annually to the Government by 1 March on the results achieved.

The meeting then considered a number of draft government decisions, including the 2027 action plan for the Cinema Development Programme of Tajikistan for 2023-2027 and the outlook for the main macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2028, together with the main parameters for 2029-2030. In conclusion, the Head of State gave ministries, agencies and local executive authorities specific tasks on timely implementation of previous instructions, preparations for the winter of 2026-2027, fuel and food reserves, and other current matters.
