IMF-Tajikistan cooperation discussed
On 14 September 2026, Jamshed Nurmuhammadzoda, Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, met Gazi Shbaykat, the IMF’s resident representative in Tajikistan, to discuss strengthening institutional capacity and automating data collection and processing.
The two sides also exchanged views on the use of modern technologies, improving calculation methods, and enhancing the dissemination and accessibility of statistical data. The meeting focused on measures aimed at improving statistical work and data-handling efficiency.
