Delegation from Tajikistan State Institute of Culture and Arts takes part in CIS international student festival

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2026 /NIAT “Khovar”/. In Moscow, capital of the Russian Federation, the international student festival of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, titled “Voshkhozhdenie”, was held. Representatives of the Tajikistan State Institute of Culture and Arts named after Mirzo Tursunzoda took part.

According to the institute, the festival opened at the S. A. Gerasimov All-Russian State University of Cinematography. The institute's students are taking part with a film they prepared, and the event is seen as useful for gaining experience and learning about new developments in world cinema.

Institute rector Mahmud Nazarzoda said the S. A. Gerasimov university is one of the institute's key international partners. Teachers from the institute also took part in the 4th international scientific-practical conference on modern trends in the creative process in film schools.
