The Samani Hall at the National Museum of Tajikistan has reopened after renovation with new exhibits and rare historical and cultural artefacts.
The refurbishment was carried out in honour of the 1050th anniversary of Robia Balkhi, one of the outstanding figures of classical Tajik and Persian literature. The aim was to enrich the exhibition content further, highlight the historical and cultural values of the Samani era, and reflect the contribution of prominent Tajik scholars and writers to the development of regional and world civilisation.
The new display has been designed using architectural and decorative features characteristic of the Samani period, allowing visitors to examine key aspects of the material and spiritual heritage of this historical era at close range.
