According to Mansur Nasrulloyev, the head of the Ayni jamoat, the jamoat has 1700 hectares of irrigated arable land and 243 peasant farms are active there. Farmers are making effective use of their land and, depending on the district's climate, are growing a range of agricultural crops.
The peasant farm Baboi Khidir also operates in Khoroson district. Of its 40 hectares of land, cotton has been planted on 33 hectares using both plastic cover and traditional methods, and harvesting is now continuing.
