Tajik delegation to present experience of efficient use of mineral resources at SCO conference

On 17-18 September 2026, Moscow will host the international conference “Best Practices in the Use of Subsoil Resources: the state of the resource base, development potential and efficiency of use”. Representatives of Tajikistan, led by the head of the Main Department of Geology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ilhomjon Oymuhammadzoda, will take part and present the country’s experience in the efficient use of mineral resources.

According to the Main Department of Geology, the conference is being held on the initiative of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and the Supreme Mining Council of the “Miners of Russia” Association.
