Rahmon holds talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, held talks with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on the sidelines of the summit of heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the Awaza area of Turkmenistan.

At the outset, the Tajik head of state welcomed the presence of the president of the friendly and brotherly country at the meeting as an honoured guest.

During the talks, a number of issues related to the friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, as well as ways to further strengthen and expand them, were discussed.
