Various facilities put into operation in Spitamen district

According to the National Information Agency of Tajikistan Khovar, several social and production facilities have been put into operation in Spitamen district. The openings took place during the working visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to Sughd Region and on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In Kurushi rural jamoat, the additional building of Secondary School No. 15 was commissioned. The facility was built in 2025 with 1 million somoni from parents and sponsors, as well as 81,660 somoni from the district executive authority. The two-storey building is designed for 320 pupils in two shifts and includes 7 classrooms, 1 teachers' room and rooms for exact sciences and mathematics.

An additional building of Secondary School No. 16 was also commissioned in Taghayak rural jamoat. Construction began in 2024 with funding from an international organisation amounting to 5 million 620 thousand 459 somoni and was completed ahead of the 35th anniversary of State Independence. The two-storey building is designed for 540 pupils in two shifts.
