Tajik parliamentary delegation takes part in CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Standing Commission meeting

A meeting of the Standing Commission of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States on agricultural policy, natural resources and ecology was held in St Petersburg, Russian Federation, on 15-16 October. Representatives of the Chamber of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the meeting.

Representatives of Tajikistan's parliament also spoke at a discussion on chemical waste and mercury lamps. They outlined Tajikistan's position, measures to strengthen legislation and the work carried out in the country.
