Grand Prize of the third National Cinema Award 'Toji Somon' goes to 'The Shine of the Stars: Jami and Navoi'

On 19 October 2026, the award ceremony for the third National Cinema Award 'Toji Somon', held under the slogan 'Appreciation of Genuine Art', took place at the Sadriddin Ayni State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in Dushanbe.

The Grand Prize went to directors Fayzullo Fayz and Dilmurod Masaidov for the historical joint film of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, 'The Shine of the Stars: Jami and Navoi'. Filmmakers from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Belarus, as well as guests and admirers of Tajik cinema, attended the event.
