Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Lesotho establish diplomatic relations
On the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the foreign ministers of Tajikistan and Lesotho signed a joint statement on establishing diplomatic relations.
On 2026-09-23, the state news agency Khovar reported that on 22 September, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, a meeting took place between Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Limpho Justice Tau, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
At the end of the meeting, the foreign ministers signed a joint statement on establishing diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Lesotho.
