Republican “Doctor of the Year - 2026” competition concluded in Tajikistan

On 17 September 2026, the “Doctor of the Year - 2026” republican competition was concluded at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to Khovar, citing the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, the competition was concluded on 17 September 2026.
The “Doctor of the Year - 2026” competition was announced from 30 April 2026 to 31 July 2026 to mark the 35th anniversary of state independence and to encourage health workers while identifying qualified specialists.
A total of 2226 doctors from across the country registered for the contest. Winners were selected in 35 nominations and awarded diplomas and cash prizes worth 15,000 somoni.
