Emomali Rahmon visits the intensive orchard of Payvandi Rasht
The President of Tajikistan inspected the Payvandi Rasht intensive orchard during a working visit to Rasht district. Officials said the orchard covers 10 hectares and is fully irrigated by a drip system.
Dushanbe, 2026-09-11. During a working visit to Rasht district, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, visited the intensive orchard of Payvandi Rasht.
The head of state was informed that the orchard has been established on an area of 10 hectares and that irrigation is fully provided through a drip system. The orchard grows 18 varieties of fruit trees, including 8 varieties of apples, 6 types of pears, 2 types of plums and 2 types of apricots.
