The President of Tajikistan visited Farkhor district to open several facilities and attend celebrations for the 35th anniversary of state independence.
On 4 October, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, arrived in Farkhor district with the aim of opening facilities of various purposes in the towns and districts of the Kulob area of Khatlon Region and taking part in the festive events marking the 35th anniversary of State Independence.
At the district's central airport, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was welcomed by regional leaders, representatives of different professions and cultural figures with joy, warmth and sincere respect.
A ceremonial cultural programme was also presented by local artists, reflecting the achievements of the independence period and the role of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in the development and progress of Tajikistan.
