Tajikistan and the World Bank discuss social protection and economic integration project implementation

DUSHANBE, 2026-10-09. Tajikistan's Minister of Labour, Migration and Employment, Soleha Kholmahmadzoda, met with the latest World Bank mission. The meeting reviewed digitalisation in the labour market and employment sectors, implementation of the Economic Inclusion Programme and the vocational training process.

The two sides also considered the second phase of the Ministry's Social Protection and Economic Integration Modernisation Project. The project was described as aiming to strengthen the social protection system and create more opportunities for people to participate in economic processes.

The parties stressed the importance of coordination among the relevant structures and stronger cooperation to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the planned measures. They also expressed readiness to continue constructive cooperation and to implement the project's goals effectively.
