Opening of the Duyoi Modar cultural and leisure park in Khorugh

The facility was built as part of landscaping and development works and in preparation for the 35th anniversary of State Independence, with a high standard of quality.

The park is located in the scenic Nosiri Khusraw neighbourhood of Khorugh and was created to honour the high status of mothers, their daily labour and their important role in raising children and supporting society. A mother statue has also been installed on the site.

Four gazebos have been built in the park, while the area has been landscaped, planted and fully lit. This provides suitable conditions for rest and walks for residents and visitors to the city.
