“Independence - the treasure of the nation, the foundation of the state”. Republican conference held in Khujand

According to Khovar on 2026-09-22, a republican conference titled “Independence - the treasure of the nation, the foundation of the state” was held at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics in Khujand. The event took place as part of the solemn celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and was organised by the executive committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Sughd Region.

Speakers noted that state independence, as a sacred and decisive value for the Tajik people, has provided a solid basis for building national statehood, strengthening national self-awareness and ensuring the country's all-round development.
