Second stage of Tajikistan-China Mining Company metallurgical plant launched in Istiklol

According to the presidential report, the second stage was built on the President’s instructions and employs 250 local and foreign workers. Using new-generation technology, it produces 4 types of high-value products.

Lead-silver concentrate, copper matte and gold are supplied from the Zarnisor mine and processed at the new plant. The finished products are intended both for the domestic market and for export. After the second stage was put into operation, the plant’s annual capacity was stated as 30,000 tonnes of pure lead, 1,000 tonnes of copper matte, 40 tonnes of pure silver and 100 kilograms of pure gold.
