Iranian Film Days open in Dushanbe

Iranian Film Days have opened in Dushanbe as part of the third National Cinema Award “Toji Somon”. According to the state institution “Tojikfilm”, the Iranian film “In the Embrace of a Tree” was screened at the city’s Navruz cinema.

The films “Sky of Iran” and “Gambler” are also set to be shown to audiences. Organisers said such cultural events play an important role in strengthening friendly and cultural ties between Tajikistan and Iran, expanding creative dialogue and promoting the exchange of experience between film-makers of the two countries.
