Two memoranda on energy signed at the business forum “Tajikistan, Forward!”

According to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, two memoranda on energy cooperation were signed during the business forum “Tajikistan, Forward!”. The first memorandum was signed between the ministry and the Lead Consortium - LLC “Avesto Group” on cooperation in implementing an electricity distribution project in the Sino district of Dushanbe. The document was signed by Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma and Bejan Azonov, director for investment projects and international cooperation at LLC “Avesto Group”. The second memorandum was signed between the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan and the company “Xinjiang Shouhai Power Development Co., Ltd.” of the People’s Republic of China. It concerns cooperation in training and building hydropower plants on the Obi Khingov River in Tajikistan.
