“Best Mother-in-Law” republic competition held to strengthen family culture

For the third year, Tajikistan has been holding the republic-level “Best Mother-in-Law” competition within the State Programme for Family Development in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2028, on the initiative of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The competition aims to strengthen the family’s role in family culture as an important social and cultural value, improve citizens’ legal awareness and household life, keep families healthy, stable and durable, reduce the number of divorces, increase parents’ responsibility in a child’s education and upbringing, prepare young people for independent life, and guide them towards caring for and supporting their parents.
