When dust levels rise, take the necessary measures to protect your health

According to the Meteorological Agency of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, atmospheric air pollution is expected to increase in the republic from 2026-09-11 to 2026-09-13.

During these days, in the cities and districts of Khatlon Region, the districts under republican administration and Dushanbe, dust will enter the country from the south-western and south-eastern directions because of meteorological factors.

The report says dust can negatively affect human health, especially during breathing, and may cause coughing, throat irritation, difficulty breathing and the aggravation of some respiratory diseases.
