Lemon harvesting continues in Jaihun district. According to Muhammadjoni Mahmadsharif, the chief specialist of the district agriculture department, Jaihun is suitable for growing and caring for citrus fruit, and residents also grow lemons, mandarins, kiwi, bananas, papaya, lime, grapefruit and other citrus fruits in their household plots.

He added that lemon greenhouses are operating on 200 hectares in the district. He said that more than 10,000 tonnes of this produce are exported abroad every year.
